Dun Laoghaire Golf Club is one of Ireland’s leading private members’ golf clubs, recognised for its championship course, modern facilities, strong governance and high standards of member service.
The Club is seeking to appoint an Office / Administration Manager to lead and coordinate the day-to-day administration function. This is a management role reporting directly to the General Manager, with responsibility for one direct report, the Administration Assistant.
The successful candidate will oversee the efficient operation of the Club office and will have responsibility across membership administration, member communications, golf administration, event administration, systems, reporting and general office management.
Role Overview
The Office / Administration Manager will ensure that the Club’s administration function operates professionally, accurately and efficiently. The role requires a highly organised, systems-oriented and member-focused individual who can manage multiple priorities, improve processes, support internal communications and supervise a small office team.
Key Responsibilities
The role will include responsibility for:
- Managing the day-to-day workflow of the Club office.
- Overseeing membership administration, including applications, renewals, resignations, category changes, onboarding and member records.
- Coordinating member communications, including the weekly Member Bulletin, monthly Newsletter, website, app, digital signage and member notices.
- Supporting the development of a proactive member engagement programme, using member data, participation trends and key milestones to strengthen communication, retention and member connection.
- Managing golf administration, including tee time bookings, guest and visitor bookings, society bookings, competition support and golf-related systems.
- Coordinating administrative arrangements for member events, clubhouse bookings, societies and seasonal functions.
- Maintaining accurate records, calendars, reports and office documentation.
- Managing and improving office systems, procedures, templates and standard operating processes.
Candidate Profile
The successful candidate should have:
- Strong administrative and operational management experience.
- Experience managing or coordinating a busy office function.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong IT capability and confidence working across multiple systems and platforms.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A professional, member-focused and service-led approach.
- Experience preparing reports, managing records and improving processes.
- Confidence dealing with members, staff, Committees, visitors and external contacts.
- Experience in a membership, hospitality, leisure, golf, club or customer-facing environment would be advantageous.
- Experience with communications, newsletters, websites, social media, internal marketing or design would also be advantageous.

Pay: €40,000.00-€46,000.00 per year
