Surgical Institute Dublin (SID) is Ireland’s first centre of excellence for skin cancer and advanced procedural care. Based in a purpose-built, state-of-the-art facility in Dublin 4, we’re building an exceptional team united by a passion for transforming patient care.
The Role
We’re looking for a motivated Patient Services Administrator to join our team. You’ll be the first point of contact for our patients, playing a vital role in delivering a seamless, welcoming experience from arrival to discharge. Acting as a central hub within our multidisciplinary team, you’ll liaise closely with clinical staff, consultants, insurers and referring GPs, ensuring smooth communication and coordinated care behind the scenes.
What You’ll Do
- Deliver a welcoming, respectful and supportive experience for all patients, with particular sensitivity to the needs of surgical patients.
- Manage front-desk operations including patient check-in, check-out and registration.
- Coordinate appointments, surgical lists and follow-up clinics efficiently.
- Handle patient queries, concerns and complaints with professionalism and empathy.
- Manage billing, insurance verifications and payments.
- Maintain accurate patient records in line with GDPR and data protection requirements.
- Liaise with clinical staff, consultants, insurers and referring GPs.
- Support quality improvement and audit initiatives.

- Experience in a healthcare or surgical setting is desirable.
