Cpl HR Recruitment are looking to speak with HR candidates for a hands-on HR Manager to lead the delivery of HR in an academic setting. This role is ideal for an experienced HR professional who enjoys being close to the day-to-day HR while influencing at leadership level.
Role and responsibilities will include:
- Act as the lead HR partner to the leadership team, providing practical, solutions-focused advice
- Manage the full HR lifecycle: employee relations, performance, recruitment, onboarding, and compliance
- Ensure adherence to Irish employment law, safeguarding, and education sector standards
- Lead teacher and support staff recruitment, including international hiring and vetting
- Oversee workforce planning, HR reporting, and salary review processes
- Drive a strong culture of professional development, wellbeing, and engagement
- Lead and develop a small HR team while remaining visible and approachable across the school
- Support with selected operational areas outside of HR
Experience and skills required:
- Proven HR experience, ideally within education, public sector, or a regulated environment
- Strong knowledge of Irish employment law and employee relations
- Confident advising senior stakeholders on complex people matters
- Highly organised, pragmatic, and solutions-driven
- Degree in HR or other related subject essential
- CIPD (or equivalent) desirable
