Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:00pm
Contract Type: PAYE contract – 6-month rolling contract

Role Overview

We are currently seeking a Data Centre Inventory & Asset Technician to support logistics, asset tracking, and inventory operations at its Ballycoolin campus in Dublin. This is a hands-on, operational role focused on the accurate handling, tracking, and movement of critical IT equipment, ensuring full asset visibility and operational continuity in a high-security data centre environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the shipping, receiving, and internal movement of IT equipment within the data centre environment.
  • Process inbound and outbound deliveries, ensuring all equipment is correctly logged, labelled, and stored in line with procedures.
  • Maintain accurate stock control and inventory systems, ensuring physical assets align with system records.
  • Organise warehouse and storage areas to ensure efficient, safe, and compliant stock management.
  • Track and manage asset lifecycle activities including installations, relocations, returns (RMA), and decommissioning.
  • Coordinate closely with operations teams, security, and logistics partners to support daily data centre activities.
  • Ensure all assets are accurately accounted for, including serial number tracking and chain-of-custody requirements.
  • Support audits, cycle counts, and inventory checks to maintain data accuracy and compliance.
  • Adhere strictly to health & safety, security, and data centre access protocols at all times.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Experience in logistics, inventory control, warehousing, or asset management, ideally in a technical or data centre environment.
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and process compliance.
  • Comfortable working in a structured, high-security, fast-paced operational environment.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multiple teams and follow established procedures.
  • Competent with inventory systems or tools (training provided where required).
  • Reliable, well-organised, and capable of managing physical tasks as part of daily operations.
